The entrance exam for JNU BA Hons courses is general and common one for all. One doesn’t need it all to have the knowledge of a single letter of the foreign language course he is preferring. The entrance exam is more focused on general knowledge, mathematics and English Grammer.

Apart from other scholarships, the University prvides MCM scholarships for JNU BA Hons Students amounting 2000 per month. This can be adjusted with his expenses in the campus including mess bill and hostel fee.
Career Perspective
The placement cell in JNU is still under construction. One has to admit that the foreign language students are having more career options than any other students in the University. Many of them prefer jobs after Graduation unlike other School students. The language students are also enjoying part time jobs and online jobs which enable them to pursue higher studies.
